Our reviews

Excellent place to stay and take a rest

Anna – the host of the property is a very helpful and nice person you can always chat with, learn a lot about Iceland, it’s culture and places worth to visit. The property is clean, spacy, comfortable in a quiet place, the hot tub close to the apartment is a great extra to take a rest after an active day. Close to Akureyri where there are shops, gas station and everything you may need. Good base to visit the northern part of the country.

Exceptional

Amazing host! 😁 She went well beyond her job to help us when we encountered a problem.

Wonderful stay

We stayed for 2 nights and had a wonderful time in this warm and cosy house. Anna was so nice and told us many stories about Iceland, it’s culture, nature and people. We enjoyed the hot tub under the stars but also when it was snowing. With one word: wonderful!

A great place to relax and a great base to explore the surrounding area.

A great place to stay for a family of four, or even five. There is a nice living room with big windows overlooking the valley and the mountain. The hot tub an added bonus that we took advantage of every night. The hosts were great and gave us a tour of their greenhouse. Overall, it is a good base for exploring the north.
